Social Event on First Conference Day - Walking tour of Luxembourg-city followed by dinner at

Hôtel Parc Belle-Vue*** (5, Avenue Marie-Therese)

Itinerary: 19:00 – Walking tour of Luxembourg inner city. The history of Luxembourg properly began with the construction of Luxembourg Castle in the High Middle Ages. Around a strategic castle a city of Europe wide importance developed. The history includes famous families, medieval buildings, and it is at the same time a modern city forming a European center for financial services and the European Commission services. Please join this year again to learn about Luxembourg. 20:00 – 24:00 Dinner at  Hotel Parc Belle-Vue*** The Hotel Parc Belle-Vue is located directly at the entrance to the Luxembourg Letzebuerg (Letzebuerg is the old name of the medieval stronghold which formed the basis for the foundation of Luxembourg). The business centre, and the historical old town with the Grand Ducal Palace are close to this location. There will be a 3 course meal including wine, tea/coffee. (3 sessions a 45 minutes) Live Music played by a local band, the Walking Happy Band. The walking happy band has a long history as the Comandoberet.
